Join us for a live webinar event on Friday, April 9, 2021, 12 PM - 1 PM.  Registered Dietitian, Ashley Perrone, MPH, RDN, CDN will present a lunch and learn webinar on Understanding 'Binge Eating' Through the Lens of Intuitive Eating.  

Ashley (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She went on to pursue her master's degree in public health nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was here where she also completed her dietetic internship rotations at Carolinas Medical Center Hospital, ENERGIZE! Program for Children at WakeMed, and Lutz, Alexander and Associates Nutrition Counseling for Eating Disorders and Child Feeding.

Ashley specializes in eating disorders/disordered eating, Intuitive Eating and child feeding based on the models of Responsive Feeding Therapy® and the Division of Responsibility®. She is passionate about helping clients and their families heal their relationships with food so they can develop ways of taking care of themselves (and their families!) that feel best to them.

Ashley also has experience with developmentally appropriate nutrition education, ARFID, chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, PCOS, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc.) and other health concerns (e..g, food allergies, insulin resistance, digestive challenges, etc). She has received training and education through Weight Inclusive Nutrition & Dietetics (WIND) and practices through a Health at Every Size® lens (HAES®).

With over 10 years of experience in public speaking, Ashley has given presentations on various topics such as eating disorders, age appropriate-nutrition education, fitness, HAES®/weight stigma, child feeding practices, women's health and related topics.

In her spare time, Ashley can be found cozying up to a good book, dancing around her apartment, or exploring new ways to cook in the kitchen! She enjoys spending time outside with her partner and pup. As a true foodie, she can usually be found exploring her neighborhood for local restaurant and coffee shop finds.

This program has received prior approval from CDR for 1.0 continuing education credit for RDN and NDT-R.
